Our Policy
Emergencies: Your pet’s safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an emergency does occur, you will be notified. If Mugsy’s Place, LLC feels it is serious, and the owner is not on-site, Mugsy;s Place, LLC will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet with the closest vet clinic and notify you of your pet’s location. All veterinary charges will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
Fleas: To prevent a flea infestation of Mugsy’s Place, LLC, and to cover the cost of extra time it takes to sanitize our grooming areas when fleas are present, I understand my pet will receive a flea bath with an additional fee added to the regular grooming price if fleas are discovered. I also understand Mugsy’s Place, LLC will only give my pet a flea bath and is not responsible for the prevention or treatment of fleas.
Coat Condition: In the event my pet’s coat is matted, I understand the Mugsy’s Place, LLC my need to shave the matts out rather than perform a painful de-matting procedure. Although all attempts will be made to prevent clipper cuts, I understand that if my pet is severely matted, there is an increased risk for clipper cuts to occur. I also understand severely matted pet’s take additional time to groom; an additional fee will be added to the regular grooming price for severely matted pet’s.
Health: I understand grooming can be stressful to some pet’s and I will inform Mugsy’s Place, LLC if my pet has any heart conditions or any stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand it is necessary to have my pet up to date on all vaccinations prior to every grooming appointment with a current copy on file at Mugsy’s Place, LLC.
Cancellation Policy: Things happen from time to time, I understand changes to or cancellation of my appointment must be made 24 hours prior to my scheduled appointment time. If one or more appointments are missed without notice given as noted above, I may be required to pre-pay prior to scheduling any future appointments, or, Future appointments may be refused.
